A separator placed in aircraft, boat and truck tanks to stop liquid from easily sloshing around within the tank. This reduces the inertia from any sudden movement made from the craft, being exaggerated by additional movement of liquid within a tank. There will still be movement within the sections of tank between the baffles, but the effect will be reduced.
