After a lovely night at Joe’s relatives we had a slow start. The wind was tantalisingly close to being enough, but we knew it was likely to be more of a sea breeze than anything else, if we were to go out to our way-point (where we last finished), there wouldn’t be enough. We instead thought we’d tackle the large pile of fishing ropes we’d found on the beach when we first arrived.

Initially we thought it had all been collected and placed there ready for disposal, so we asked if we could borrow a large wheelie bin to help transport it back to the garbage facility. Bin at the ready on the edge of the promenade we attempted to start pulling it up. To our dismay it was all tangled together in one big mess. We had to go back to Mentor to get a knife to start cutting pieces out. It took three of us 2.5 hours to finally get to the bottom of it all.

In the end we needed a second industrial bin to put it all in. The one bag-for-life I (Islay) collected in the same time period seemed insignificant in comparison, almost like sprinkles on the top of a cake. Still, really pleased we managed to get it all, removed an unsightly mess on an otherwise pretty view out towards Forlorn Point. To levitra 100mg pills formulate these pills, the manufacturing company to treat its clients with more responsibility. To reward ourselves we had yet another ice cream, I didn’t make the mistake of asking for one scoop this time, the strawberry is the best I’ve ever had. All locally grown, with Irish cream. Jeremy went for “Brown Bread”, think that’s up there with one of the oddest flavours I’ve ever had, tasted exactly like cold soda bread. Now soda bread was the thing I was looking forward to the most when we got to Ireland (not being one for the Guinness), but not in ice cream! Each to their own I guess.
